The problem would seem to be on Funimation's side and not the retailer's side, since my copy from RACS has scratched DVDs and OK blurays, like Ertxz18 above.

And I don't see how the scratches line up with anything in the digipak case, so it might be a matter of mishandling before that, or mishandling in putting the whole thing together... but either way, that digipak is horrible. Funi can stop using those any time. I'd rather have standard cases.

(I guess they have no money left for chipboard boxes after paying off their lawyers for that Funi/Sentai lawsuit?)

I got an e-mail from Funimation yesterday asking for my address information in order to replace my DVDs and pins.

I did e-mail, I got a response within the next business day (which was really fast by the way) and I'm getting my new discs soon within a few days, I am very satisfied with your Customer Support Very Happy So thank you Funimation for also providing that along with awesome animes! Keep up the good work!

From what I saw, there was a small stain like mark on one of the DVDs (Disc 1). No playback troubles yet. No scratches on the BDs and the other DVD though....so fingers crossed.
