It's a little busy, but here's my entry: Robots at the Park.

Alright, hope it's not too late to enter the contest. (The deadline was June 20th, right? That was the earliest date provided, anyway.) Wish I had more figures to work with, but I think this should work out well enough. Er, hopefully, anyway!
"The Princess of the Crystal and the helper Penguins decide to pursue an aggressive Survival Strategy that entails the subjugation of my more inexpensive figures. Penguins #1-3 do their own.... thing, while the Princess decides to go all John Woo against a certain Agent....!" |

Man, being sick really kills any motivation to track down the toys you need to find... However, I managed to a) find them, b) get the stupid hands switched, and c) get them to stand up long enough to take the photo.
Of course, I couldn't resist also making a little web-comic out of it. (Obviously, not entered due to photoshop usage) Also, just for fun, this is what I did when I got my first Figuart: |

Yup, she's the first Nendo I've bought, I just can't leave her after looking at her teary-eyed/begging face |

You guys! These are great! Big thanks to everyone who participated.
Anyway, here-and-faraway gets it with the date picture and the restaurant setup. Everything goes together so well: the prop, the poses, the good old Homura stalker joke, the super saiyan hair as reaction. I love it. Honorable mention wise: -DarkFaiz made me laugh, especially with the last one and the posing for explosions one. -Suena's hitting the spider picture has a really good pose and feeling of motion, that one's gonna hurt -frankie0629's selfie picture was great. -ParaChomp's Zeon family had me rolling. -daburuwo and Hibiki and the Imas Xylophone, too good. I wish I could give you all limited edition Neco-Arc Chaoses. Keep playing with toys! |

Thank you so much! I've never won anything before!
I loved looking at all of the pictures. It would be tons of fun to do this again, even if there was no prize involved. Maybe kind of like a "Shelf Life" installment, but with figure photography? There were so many creative ideas! Thank you again! |

Yeah, I'd like to see this done again even if there was no prizes. Some of the entries had me absolutely creased.

Congrats on winning! You totally earned it. My bets where on either you or DarkFaiz's idol concert but frankly I liked every single picture posted.
Great minds think alike, I was thinking exactly the same thing. There could be a special section at the end of each Astro Toy (or less often depending on participation). For each run Dave could pitch a new theme (sports, space, horror, famous movies, polynomial equations, whatever) for people to work with and the next instalment of Astro Toy would feature all the pictures he'd have received in the mail. I'd happily participate, regardless of a prize. Oh, and it should totally be called "Astro Toy Story" |
