Wow, looks great!
And already confirmed for 2 our too with one of my favorite studio, White Fox. Some characters aren't shown in the PV yet but we'll see them soon. |

I'm still a little hesitant about this even though I really enjoy the manga. This kind of series really needs a good studio to adapt it and I'm not sure if White Fox is the one for the job.
Other than that though, this preview does look pretty good. |

I wish we could get more western-styled fantasy anime that don't mix other genres in and don't verge on JRPG designs, systems, and characters, but that's never really been a major thing in anime outside of Lodoss, Weathering Continent, Ys, and a few scant others. Still, I like the design work on this and the color space for the character art.

I'm gonna guess you were going for "cour" in there? Where was this mentioned to be 2 cours? Hmm, so Kaori's VA is going to be Akame...an assassin. Interesting. 
I'm kind of looking forward to seeing this anime. Happy that the manga has already been licensed, gives me the option to jump into it when the anime wraps up...if I enjoy the show enough. |

CHOOOO CHOOOO!
ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN!! (I say that but I know I'm gonna shell out for a first class ticket myself!  )
I was able to feel disdain for the tsunami of AoT Hype that swept through the Anime/manga community because I didn't care massively about the series. It was enjoyable, but hardly great. I personally think that AgK is better written, the plot is more interesting the series a a whole is more honest and the you can't really argue that the art is infinitesimally better. All of this is just a long-winded way of saying Hurray The anime looks good and Hurray, Yen Press is licensing an English Language release. |

I don't understand the hype for this. It's a good manga, yes... but the hype train is a tad unwarranted. It's not the kind of show to set the world on fire. I trust White Fox not to mes it up, but even at its best, the manga is just average. Except, of course... Esdese.

A lot of hype comes from just having a similar title to Kill la Kill. I find this rather interesting so I'll probably watch this... someday... when it has finished airing.
