I can't say I'm surprised. Excellent job, I'm glad Attack on Titan has gotten a powerful following outside of Japan.

The series' popularity have truly given it titanic book sales rankings. Nice to know Kodansha USA is doing great with the series.

AoT's sell thru is impressive. I'm hopeful that it will give Kodansha USA a base to work off of with new titles.

I wish it would allow them to pick up all thePastel volumes since Del Rey only released the 1st 15 and vol. 37 came out in Japan back in April. At this point, I actually would prefer if Kodansha released all the chapters online (a monthly Kodansha subscription is fine) since that would mean a quicker release.

I'm surprised. I don't know how this work or how human works.
Not sure why people buy vol 1, but not vol 2? Normally, it's the latest vol that sell the best.

Most likely people see the first volume in stores, say "oh cool, I've heard of that" and impulse buy it.
