They were on the production committee, and are handling the Blu-Ray release in Japan. |

It's playing in a theater in my city, so I'll do my best to go see it. I don't know anything about it, but I look forward to it. ^^;

Watched this opening day.
Frontier Setter is ADORABLE. The moment he put that cap on, OMG. So cute! It was quite refreshing to hear Kugimiya voice a different kind of character. |

No, unfortunately. Aniplex are incredibly stingy with their films. It seems that unless your town is lucky enough to get a screening or you're willing to pay their ridiculous prices for a blind buy, u no can haz.
The one exception to this were the SD rentals of the Garden of Sinners films they put out on PSN some years ago, but those have long since been removed and they've made no attempt to offer up anything similar since then. |

Does anyone have any idea how to buy tickets? Supposedly we can today, but none of the theaters appear to have the movie listed and the website for the movie doesn't actually let you buy tickets despite the link saying you can. It just gives you a list of theaters without links.

San Francisco's New People Cinema's event at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/972222 indicates that the movie opens on 12/20 rather than 12/13, and that tickets will go on sale at noon today. No idea about when other theaters will have their ticket sales online.
