Looks great. I can't wait to see an updated PV on this as well. Not sure yet on which design I like the most though but Kureha's visual looks pretty catchy.

I still can't decide whether this premise sounds more outwardly bonkers than Penguindrum did. Either way, I'll be watching!

Not even Yoko Hikasa or Kikuko Inoue can't make me watch Yuri Kuma Arashi. I read the manga, and it is really bad.

There's a chance that the anime could be better than the manga.

I think cat girls could have been more appealing. Then again, it wouldn't really fit the plot.

If it provides any comfort, I believe Ikuhara's come out and said already that the manga and anime are really their own kind of things. Can't remember the source on that though. (And how much of the manga has come out, anyway? What's making it so bad?)
Do like the new designs and key visual myself, but while Penguin_Factory may be debating whether the premise sounds more outwardly bonkers than Penguindrum, I'll just go ahead and say that Yuri Kuma Arashi *does* seem more outwardly bonkers!  Then again, I first went into Penguindrum without knowing much about the premise at all and without watching Revolutionary Girl Utena.
