Heh, interesting how they put it in 4:3. I wonder what the purpose of that is.

This wording was in older ANN articles too, but I just noticed it.
Quote:
The story was originally posted piecemeal on Twitter by Japanese "translators" Yu Honda and Leika Sugi, allegedly translating the work of American authors "Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez."

The use of "translators" and allegedly implies there are no actual American authors for this work (presumably the "translators" are the actual creators). Am I interpreting that correctly?

Yeah I did find that a bit odd.

They're pretending that this is an existing American comic that they happened to find, but in reality they just made it up themselves.

Sweet trailer, the Matoi Ryuuko is strong in this one.

Quote:
The story was originally posted piecemeal on Twitter by Japanese "translators" Yu Honda and Leika Sugi, allegedly translating the work of American authors "Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez." After the story grew in popularity, Enterbrain published the first Japanese-translated volume in print, Ninja Slayer: Neo Saitama in Flames, in September 2012. The story then inspired comic adaptations from Enterbrain and Kodansha (including Kōtarō Sekine's Ninja Slayer Kills in Shōnen Sirius), as well as an audio drama with Toshiyuki Morikawa as the title character.

That sounds like a lie-becomes-truth situation. Made me laugh when I thought of it that way

It's a joke apparently. The creators are Japanese

Concept looks interesting. Art style is..acquired taste i think. Still art looks good but animation isn't what I would think it be. Looks like old school 1990s anime art style on not so good side so far.

Busty girls part i guess is in there lure all demographic groups to watch it. Rolling Eyes

I don't think they need do that all the time, makes bit interesting when T&A isn't all over the place.

This looks pretty damn amazing! This is the kind of style I love and if the truns out to be good, I'll be all over it.

You are indeed. In reality, the whole American authors thing is just a big marketing stunt to make the title seem more interesting.

I like the art style so far. Can't really judge the animation yet on such a short clip.
