Yeah,and is it me? or is this 4th Special/Movie/OVA thats again chopper arc? i swear i seen this arc more than 2 times made,if i remember right. |

^ They're not remaking the entire arc. They're just adding a page or two of material to 2008 movie.

I saw the movie at a Con, it's okay... most of it was the same as canon.
What I preferred are the What If Bits: Franky and Zoro's thing (Franky loves Wapol's ship) and everything with Wapol's brother (he has a brother in this movie... who ate a poison fungus Devil Fruit...). It's cool they're doing something like that for the movie but there are much better things to do for the 15th anniversary of the anime... |

So I know I'm in the minority on this, but I love this movie so much that I watch it every year on December 26 ever since 2009. I just wanted to get that out of the way.
I'm curious about what the new animation will feature. |

Oda makes very good use of his cover pages to help the reader keep up with characters who came up in the past, and how they are doing now. Pretty sure not a lot of people do this nowadays, usually when you've gone through a certain arc you don't have anything to do with those types of minor characters ever again, unless something comes up.
