A novel? Cool.

Definitely interested in this since I've been enjoying this anime. I wonder what changes this will differ from the adaptation though.

The article says it's a prequel... so probably changed a LOT.

I'm really enjoying Shirobako, but I'm still expecting more or less of the school story to show up in the later episodes. Hopefully it includes how the characters met.

Might wanna change that Good Luck Girl! typo too Wink

A prequel novel of how the girls met sounds like a good premise.

Crunchyroll is also streaming this television anime in the Americas and several countries in Europe as well as other regions, and it also no longer lists episode 6 "Idepon Miyamori: On the Move."

Still?

Since the broadcast time has passed in Japan, I suspect the publisher won't be in much of a hurry to address the rights problem and issue a new version of episode 6 until close to time to publish the DVD/BD that contains that episode.

Even then, whether they are obligated to provide that episode to CR depends on the terms of their contract.
