So 12 episodes at 25 min an episode, seems fair enough for me, not too keen on the bonuses though, I wish they added a code for the Vita port or something. It will be a good watch though.

My amazing Math Ability reveals hidden truths in this article:
6 DVD volumes, each at 50 min. runtime = a 1-cour show. BAM! I'm sure you didn't see that one comin'.
Unless Diomedéa will troll us all, and put 10 5-min. episodes in each DVD volume. That actually would be funny

Pretty much expected... even though I know nothing about KanColle so I hope the anime can introduce me to it properly.

To think this and Cinderella Girls are coming out on the same season. It will be interesting to see which one will come up at top.

I'm looking forward to this show about a MMO I've never played before far more than I have any right to be. I blame the oncoming shipping puns.

The anime adaptation of popular web browser game KanColle has not even been broadcast on television yet, but it is already topping the Japanese Amazon DVD and Blu-ray best-seller charts. Meanwhile, in Akihabara there have been reservation areas set up especially for the unseen but super-popular DVD and Blu-ray.

LOL so a show they haven't seen yet is topping charts: http://waku2japan.com/archives/7071

That's quite an amazing sight. I don't recall any other show that topped both the DVD and Blu-Ray charts before they were even watched. It seems that the Kantai Collection camaraderie has gotten plenty of love from a huge populace. Smile

Based Kancolle saving Japan from the overratedness and annoyance of Frozen.

I wish Aniplex or NISA would grab the show/franchise. I want as much of the Japanese bonuses as possible (except event attendance, since I won't be able to attend anyway).
