DVD.... Drat. Those look really bad on 1080p tvs. Eh, bite the bullet. I heard bad reviews about the movie, but It's Harlock. Still need to see it.

As not good as the film is overall being just a waste of potential for Harlock, the film still needs to be seen in HD.

I might've been interested, but it comes off more like a Final Fantasy cut scene than Harlock in the clips I've seen. I wonder if they'll bring over that Saint Seiya CG thing, though. That one looks well done, at least.

I wish they could've included the Spanish dub on the DVD as well.

...While the UK gets the 3D blu-ray steelbook treatment, which I've already pre-ordered. And no, it's not region-free.

It's interesting that it uses Sentai staff/cast but won't be released by them.

I'm also shocked that they didn't announce the Bluray version of this movie. That UK steelbook is looking more and more tempting.

Well, the name can't be any more stranger than 'Henstooth'. Which is a video distribution company. I often wonder how they come up with all these names.

An important thing to remember is to be thankful it got an official release here at all. It's possible an official BD might be made eventually.

I know I'm a bit late to the thread but I just want to point out that Netflix is also streaming the English dub.
