I wonder how this compares to San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic-Con, Anime France (or whatever the one in Paris is called if I got the name wrong), and Anime Expo Chile.
I know attendance at Anime Expo in Los Angeles last year was 85,000, right on the mark--there would've been more, but the fire marshal prohibited it as it was the legal capacity of the Los Angeles Convention Center. It will certainly grow higher in 2015 due to the convention center getting expanded. The four conventions listed above have higher attendance than Anime Expo LA, however. |
