Anyways, Rousey is an Olympic medalist in judo, and her mother was a World Judo champion. So her family has been exposed to Japanese culture for awhile. She's America's Yawara-chan. |

No, the joke came from the over-the-top line read from Brian Drummond as Vegeta, coupled with somebody putting in on a loop on YouTube, messing with the audio, zooming in, out, etc, a bunch of times. It was funny for about a minute, and now every casual DB fan thinks it's the height of wit to use it like it's some high watermark of the series. It's not at all even a significant line in the series (though DBZ doesn't tend to have quotable lines). It's like what they tried to do with Gundam and "We're jumping onto White Base... yarraaaghhh!" The line read isn't even that funny. |

I thought the top was awesome whilst watching though the segment was a waste of time in an utterly poor show. I don't blame the performers but the booking and builds were terrible.

I mean a quotable line that isn't from embarrassingly bad English dub dialogue. Though I'm fond of Freeza's line in the Japanese version about "ants fighting a dinosaur". Pretty sure that made it into the English dub of Kai. |

The results of the ME and ladder match were the only good results; the other mathes were a waste of time, in my opinion or buried fresh talent (execpt the Diva's, the match was a let down as the time given was poor and they shat over the build with no hype package in the pre-show and sponsorship plugging before the match). |
