Hmm, that's a little unusual, isn't it? I don't recall NISA ever offering standard editions of a title before the premium edition even comes out.

I hadn't remembered that, so thank you. However, Toradora was a NISA re-release (with a dub, mind you) and CCS was a license rescue. So perhaps I can say with some accuracy that this is the first time NISA has announced standard editions of a first release title before the PEs came out?

lull in the sea is now being released in DVD singles? lol this is one of the few NIS titles I do not own I dont know why they are charging more than toradora or hanasaku iroha for this obscure title. |

I wonder if that the reason they're releasing the singles now is because the premium edition is $180. This would also explain Cardcaptor Sakura and Toradora.

13 episodes in one set is not equal to dvd singles. 13>4(or 5) At less than $40 per set, it's not a bad deal at all, considering their "standard" releases are on par with some of their competitors initial releases. |

Wait... WHAT! I didn't know that NISA had licensed Kotoura-san! It's been a while since it aired so I didn't think that anyone was going to license that series. If the price is right (in other words, if I have enough money), I'll definitely buy it. I really liked that show.
