Based on that synopsis, I'd guess the author wrote the one shot as a joke while drunk, only to wake up the next day & have his hangover interrupted by a guy in a suit from the we're desperate for content division of JUMP.

The old story of "Couple are engaged because of family" is always good for a laugh. Americans don't do that very often, so it is always a little odd sounding here.

Lemonchest, I like the idea of a "We're desperate for content" department. Laughing

A shame, it was a decent series. It did fanservice-humor well by being openly ridiculous about it, had fun lead-characters with good chemistry and the sports-aspect was pretty well-done as well.

It's not surprising that it didn't last, though. That kind of genre has it harder anyway, especially with that type of sport.
Also, the current WSJ-lineup is the strongest they had in years, so it's even harder for new series to get going. I just hope that Kagamigami manages to keep ranking well.

Such a short series would have material for a one cour series but that might be given that didn't do do so well.

To be expected. It wasn't very good. I suppose this means School Judgement has a one or two week life expectancy.

No, I'm sure it'll be gone next week. Gakkyu Hotei: School Judgment usually accompanies Ageha's Table Tennis at the bottom.

I live table tennis but the synopsis does sound dumb.
