Here's hoping they don't start their venture with an All the Bravest or Dungeon Keeper Mobile mess.

As long as their smartphone titles don't make use of the so-called "free-to-play" scheme, the users will be able to enjoy these small games without a hassle.

I'm 99% certain that freemium will be their business model for smartphones.

Out of the 'approximately 5' titles, I wonder how many will be Mario & Luigi or Pokémon (maybe even a Zelda one).

Probably just adapting the crappy f2p games that have been popping up on the 3DS

If it is Pokémon, I doubt it would be a full fledged title. Probably something more along the lines of Pokémon Shuffle.

I could see a bare-bones Pokemon game where you get your fighters by buying/earning random card packs (that f2p money) doing banks for Nintendo. People have huge nostalgia for that and they could milk it for years with special packs, rare pokemons and all that.

There was at least one Gameboy game based on the TCG, but Nintendo doesn't own the copyright to Pokemon and wouldn't be able to release a game on their own.
