Sounds pretty cool, but I doubt OnV has such a wide spread fanbase like BGC did, it's not exactly your general introductory anime title.

This project sounds well though out; I think I will support it. I also hope this leads to AnimEigo or other company kickstarting a BD release of Gunbuster.

I'd support that and a BD of Diebuster too. Then they can sit next to my DVD copies. I have a real soft spot for both OVAs. |

I've never actually seen this one but I'm willing to put a bit in having just finally watched the Gunbuster movie the other night, I'm now in just the right mood to go for another old Gainax title. (Speaking of Gunbuster I also agree with the comments for a kickstarter for the series BDs of Gunbuster and Diebuster, because I mean the movie was fantastic but there were definitely glaring pacing and development flaws from the compression of the first four episodes)
EDIT: However I'm slightly suspicious of AnimEigo being allowed to use a BD50 where Japan only used a BD25. Surely there's a catch outside of not being allowed to ship to Japan? |

Otaku no Video used to be the first anime screening to open any NA anime convention.

I have it on dvd so ... Now if they would actually do a Kickster for Legend of the Galactic heroes i would give them alot of money !!!!
Or just any Tezuka series for that matter. |
