I wonder what the movie's length will be from covering two chapters.
Although the manga already ended, it is always sad when good things come to an end. |

Does anyone have home rights for Mushishi: The Next Chapter? Because I would buy the hell out of that on blu-ray in a glorious special edition (unless it's Aniplex, then just regular edition, but still blu-ray). I wish Funi would re-release the first series on blu-ray too, it's just too glorious. Did it really not do that well over here? I feel like everyone I know has seen it and owns the first series.

Ah~ this will really marks the end of Mushishi. This is one series I wish never end. I'm a little sad, but all good things must come to an end. I'm looking forward to the movie a lot.

Yeah, I don't believe they skipped any chapters, so this should be the last one. Kinda sad to see it go, but at the very least it's going with one of the best chapters, and the only one that actually required two whole chapters to be completed. |

It would be nice to see the TV series released for home video. According to the encyclopedia, Aniplex has the license. (I wonder if the distro will be less than $300....)
The first season was the first Funimation set I ever bought, and I was a little skittish about it, because basically this is Funimation. I think they did a decent job, though. They didn't try to give the different mushi some stupid kind of English name. They even had on-screen notes about the names. It was a little weird hearing Col. Mustang's voice coming out of Ginko, but I got over it. I could live with season 2 being sub-only. |
