That's going to be a long wait...
Good for the fans though.

That hard feel....when you might get an animated series of a popular videogame series....before you get another game...

Goddammit Capcom...

Given the companies involved this will almost certainly be for kids who currently aren't fans.

Well this is interesting news indeed. 2017 is quite a wait, but I look forward to seeing what comes of this.

I'm a fan of Man of Action, so I have high hopes for this. 2017 though? *sigh*

Oh dear god, it seems cartoon companies haven't learned their lesson. May God help us fans through the possible atrocity that will come out in 2017. Why could we just get another game on the consoles or handhelds?

Didn´t Crapcom burry the franchise? Oh i kid but where the hell are the games? It least Gunvolt and No.9 are keeping the "tradition" alive. The 90s toon sucks but the German opening is awesome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFEBaAxO7W0

At least something new Mega Man related is being made, even if it isn't a game.

Feels weird that it's been 5 years since the last official Mega Man game(MM10). Unless you count that Street Fighter x Mega Man game Capcom put out for free.

This could be good.

But probably not.

I want it to be good, but it is either going CG or Flashy-Tweeny which tend not be visually stunning. I don't have much hope.

Maybe at least we'll get a Rockin' good song for Rockman.

Err...pretty much every Man of Action show has been handdrawn 2D so no real reason to assume this won't be. Actual quality of the show beyond that is another story though. Classic Ben 10 was fine and Generator Rex was pretty good but their Marvel stuff has apparently been mediocre. Of course it's possible the latter might have partially been Disney's doing so tough call.

I'm cautiously optimistic for the time being. At the very least it shows Capcom still acknowledges the franchise exists.

Based on the original game series and not one of those spin-offs where Mega Man is a computer program or some such nonsense?

I hope it's good. Love me some Mega Man.

I hope it uses a few elements from the Archie comic.
