Darn, I thought the figurine would have real optical camouflage. That'd drive the price to ridiculous levels though. That, and the technology is still experimental and far from perfected.
(Looks like there's another article here on this website that shows that invisibility cloak. It's pretty cool.) |

This is the first SAC Motoko figure in years, probably the best looking of all too. I want to buy this so badly.

I thought it will turn fully invisible or something... Having the figure mid-cloaking is also cool, though.

If this was signed by either/both the Japanese/English VA for the the GiST TV Motoko, then the price could go up considerably.

I'm surprised that the price isn't higher. Given the apparent quality and the fairly unique mix of clear and colored material, this isn't an unreasonable price. Kind of disappointing that this version is a retailer exclusive, but even the fully painted version would be nice.

Admit it, SAC Motoko is just really well drawn. I think though they could have made her a bit more invisible than just at the knees. If I had the chance though I would probably try to get this figure.
