The one huge benefit of digital hand-drawn animation is that it's simpler to fix mistakes more cleanly. Smile

Having seen tons of both crappy digital and analog arts at local anime conventions, it doesn't matter which medium a draftsman uses. What really matters is developing necessary art skills through practice and trial & error. Even state-of-the-art computer and software can't save mediocre art and the same applies to traditional medium as well.

I can't argue about advantages of digital, but it's more important to learn from mistakes than just correcting mistakes and repeating the same mistakes.
