Berserk has basically become the new HiatusXHiatus at this point. Come on, Miura, we know haste makes waste, but seriously. It's been almost a year.
Does anyone know what the reason actually was, for that matter? |

So this year we got the announcement of Shenmue III, Final Fantasy VII Remake, confirmation that the The Last Guardian is still alive. Now that Berserk AND D.Gray Man is coming back, literally anything is possible. ANYTHING!

Didn't help that he wasted 3-4 chapters on this out of nowhere flashback to kid Guts that did nothing for the story. He rescues some old prisoner guy who leaves him to get caught, he fights in an arena, and then it turns out the old guy was a commander or noble and rescues him with his forces. Guts learned about trust or whatever when he goes over the same exact thing with the Squadron of the Hawk in the beginning of the series. It was a complete waste of time and filler all while dealing with Miura's constant long hiatuses. |
