It is crazy how much higher the sales of Disney related BD's are compared to those of Japanese Animation.
It seems Japan's love of Disney animation dwarfs that of Western love of anime. E.g. You would never see even a Hayao Miyazaki film make tens of millions at the US Box Office, let alone the quarter of a billion Frozen made at the Japanese Box office. |
