I haven't seen this series at all yet (Feel free to Gasp, shame me or something lol) but good for those who have been waiting for this release for so long.

Slightly off topic but I remember seeing this series recently got the bluray treatment this year in Japan, what is the likely hood of the series releasing in NA in bluray down the road? Does funimation have the regular series license? I know there are long OOP ADV DVD sets on ebay but many are counterfeits or extremely marked up and might just wait to see if this series is released stateside on bluray to watch this series for the first time.

So how may posts do you think we'll get before penguintruth says again how awful he thinks this movie is.

I wish it had come out long ago, but I am happy to finally see a firm release date. Hopefully my rightstuf preorder is still active.

I'll come out for penguintruth and say the movie left no real impression on me. The second act just made me kind of not care about the resolution because the pacing and momentum turned to nothing. I also do not effing care about Shinji and Kowaru's relationship. "Baaawww he's the only one who has ever really cared for Shi-" I don't care.

Well, with that news I must reiterate and update an earlier post.....2nd Coming of Christ, on a hilltop near you, slated for February 1st, 2016. Or not......?
