It remains to be seen if it's a sequel to the movies trilogy (most likely) or the 1997 (i wish but it doesn't seem possible).

I've never heard of Gunnm, but Yotsuba&! won't happen. Apparently the manga artist said he'd rather not. But it's kinda of like the manga 666 Satan for me. I've accepted that it'll never get an anime.

Yeah, I know. Those are just my dream anime, sadly they probably won't ever happen because of creator/rights issues.

We truly have reached an era of Remakes, Sequels and Revivals of Fan Favourite Anime...GESUS Christ..i said this right after the D-Grayman announcement with all the recent announcements..it won't be long till get even more classic revivals like Berserk and this Happend...HAHA i am laughing like a maniac here

This news isn't really surprising or new though, since before the movies came out they said it was a long time project adapting the manga (not just remaking the golden age as a movie series). It only depended on the success of the movies. |

I'm pretty sure they said at one point that the trilogy movies were just the beginning, so I'd imagine that this is just the answer to "When?" instead of "What?" . . . unless it's not another movie, which is also okay in my book.
