You said the first season came out in 2014, but in was in 2013.

I was going to say it aired in 2014, but just double checked and it aired in 2013.

It's a shame yen press and dark horse and all the other english manga publishers never license the dvds. I'd like to get my hands on this if it was bundled with the english translation. But it's not going to. Just like the Watamote dvd that was bundled with one of the mangas.

Attack on Titan volume 17 came out with the first bonus DVD from Japan (volume 16 had a bonus variant with a deck of cards), so I think US manga publishers are starting to look into releasing these bonus variants - I'm sure they'd like to see the higher price points become viable!
