I really want to throw money at this guy to get him to create something longer-form. Crazy talented.

  • What if there was an Empire-focussed short Star Wars animation, drawn with the crazy detail and shading of classic 80s anime that's all but vanished from Japan nowadays?

one of the best 3d animation that i've seen in a while, sunrise seems to be the only japanese animation company that seems to be able to do great 3d nowadays, hop some of the other studio takes note on how this guy cuts and do the pacing of the scenes.

only thing i dislike about it is that i always seen r type and other's like salamander to have a darker tone in them rather then a visually crisp and vibrant look.

WHAT?! Shocked (Rushes in here) and he did a good job too! I can't help but enjoy in-cockpit views.

I'll be keeping an eye out.

LOL @ Force docking.

Yeah, I got that "This guy's watched a LOT of space-mecha OVA's Shocked " vibe even from the stills, even without the TIE-fighter short.

Which would be a nice homage if it was "real" anime, but it's too fluid to be genuine 90's anime, and besides, British animators haven't done a good cartoon since Danger Mouse.

I think it's more like (late?) 80s style?

He's got it down. Made me excited.
