I'm curious, if anyone watched the first series, was Tomitake somehow the main character, despite the fact that most of the action occurs spoiler[after he gets killed]?

He absolutely wasn't. The TV Drama was quite faithful to the original story of those three arcs, and presented itself as such, with Keiichi as the main character. Tomitake didn't even have an appearance in half of the episodes. |

Yess! I've been waiting for any announcement on any sequel.
This has been very faithful to the original, and quite good in itself. I like the tv drama much better than the films. I'm happy they'll go midway through the answer arcs! |

oo is there a place to watch the first series yet with english subs?! i love ryukishis work and all the when they cry series so i have to see this too.
