At least they're not trying to pass it off as the same character like what happens in Hollywood adaptions of anime and comics. People should encourage more original minority characters rather than just taking an established Japanese or white characters and lazily changing them to black or Muslim .

The only character that stood out was Pentecost. Idris Elba stole the show whenever he was on screen. I also enjoyed Ron Pearlman's character, albeit a little over the top but good nonetheless. Having John Boyega portray Pentecost's son for me is a much better route than bringing back One Dimensional Charlie. Either way, bigger, badder Mech's and Kaiju pleeease!
