I will indeed be buying this one! I'm currently playing the first game right now, but I am enjoying the story and characters a lot, and the combat is pretty good too, so it's a winning recipe for me. It does steal a bit from Persona, what with character links and a calendar, but unlike Persona, the calendar just kind of moves at its own pace, so the game skips from "school stuff" to "field study" and back again in these huge chunks, so you really only see 5 days or so out of the month.

I do fear that the first game might end in a cliffhanger at this point (but don't spoil anything for me though!), but at least I've only a few weeks until the second one comes out. Let's see if I can beat 1 before 2 comes out then!

I adored Trails in the Sky and Cold Steel did a good job not feeling much like just your typical high school anime (it did have those moments). If it follows the Sky formula, this sequel should be right up my alley.

I already knew it was coming september 6 (I preorder that shit on amazon when I finished cold steel 1 months ago) this has got to be one very underrated RPG (ok Falcom games are not that big in the US but still)

It's nice, we didn't had to wait two years for the second game Razz

I still haven't finished the first game, but I will buy it nonetheless.
(I'm still in the middle of Trails in the Sky SC too, ugh)
