Usami might be the more perverted one, what with her daydreams going towards the "or".

Also, they are in the 8th grade, so 8th grade syndrome is kind of fitting. The birth of a Dekomori and master relationship.

Cute episode, really liked the Usami and Uchimaki chemistry especially when they were in that dark secret room together. Oh the delusions..

Second segment about the treasure hunt was fun until the ending. I feel trolled lol

I was not expecting the reveal of the treasure. But I guess it seems logical that treasure which was found by instructions of a manga in a middle school art room, which included steps by looking from the boys toilet, would actually be a spoiler[porn magazine]. And by the looks of the preview, the situation is not over yet.

I was somewhat thinking in the first part that the moment he hugged her that it seemed like him that might mostly exist only in her head.

Episode 9

That was so funny! Oh the misunderstandings...with that ecchi book although it makes me wonder what really is inside that book? Colette's reactions didn't really make much of it.

The second segment was kinda boring imo except the part about the delusion. Technically wasn't even a competition considering Uchimaki's opponent didn't draw anything. I like the third segment though. The president and that Moeka girl had some nice moments, very cute.

Episode 10:

So the club members gathered around to study this episode..

Even though they are in their casual clothes and are at Usami's home, it feels like they're at the club room. (even President is still sleeping!) Usami is adorable imo this episode, especially when she stares long at Uchimaki's sleeping face.

I find it even more funny that Colette sneaked into Uchimaki's bed under the sheets.
Good to see that they did much better on their tests after studying..

I find some of the facial expressions Usami was making quite funny.

Episode 11

Well that's a creative way to utilize used cans..

I think Colette had the most fun from the experiment. The girls looked neat in their outfits though, no wonder the boys were swarming over them especially Imari. Sensei also looks odd in that animal outfit. I always thought the only suitable character to fit in that would be President.

Seriously though, I think the art club did a decent job at making those cans worth a lot this episode with their creativity. Also, Imari and Usami in maid outfits! Glorious.

It was a bit odd that in one scene we get the sudden introduction of a girl that has an interest in the club president, and her also the photo at the end.

Also, a question; the cans clearly look like they have the logo of Coca Cola, most brand stuff in anime get changed to something slightly off, but I can't tell if there is any difference. Would the normally be able to get away with this. I had noticed the can in the ED for some time, and the cat costume, so I was kind of happy both parts came into play here.

I'm going to guess that maybe CocaCola is one of the sponsors of the show since their brand name seems to be intact.

Episode 12 (finale):

This Poster Has a Problem! One of his favourite comedies of the season is over. Crying or Very sad I do love my short-haired heroines. Especially ones with cute bunny hairpins, who get slightly violent when angry and occasionally flash their panties. Oh Uchimaki-kun, why can't you see what's right in front of you?

I rated the show Very Good. Along with New Game! it certainly provided the laughs this season. I really hope there is going to be a This Art Club Has More Problems! in the future.

Episode 12 (finale)

So much teasing in the end..

Hell, they even got an imaginary character that Uchimaki claims to like that has the exact same name as Usami. Still, I have to admit that the finale did a decent job with the character chemistry in particular Uchimaki and Usami. Fun show overall, I am still satisfied.

Going to miss all the fun gags in the show. Rating it as good.

Episode 12 (finale)

Most veteran viewers would know that chances were that Usami was having some sort of misunderstanding with Uchimaki, but the really did push it. The misunderstanding did seem in line with his personality, and it was some okay gags with her reaction. I think it also demonstrated the fickle nature of a certain otaku audience, the ones who go on about waifus, but kind of have a terrible reaction if they see them as impure, one of the biggest examples was the Kannagi controversy years ago. But I don't think that it is a topic that needs to be discussed in depth at the moment. In general I would describe the show as kind of sweet. I liked Usami as a main character, she did have some mild tsundere traits, but I think in general her character was kind of used to betray the moe ideas. One of the highlights in the show were her various facial expressions, and at times there was some rather neat focus on animation with her, like how she started to run to catch up to him. In general she felt like a balanced character with some nice focus. And I actually believe that there was some growth with her and Uchimaki.

But I think more likable was the comedy, where some things were comedy gold. My favourite was the string misunderstandings starting with Colette painting the head, where all too much such gags fall through with feeling too forced, I actually laughed. Actually, I think it kind of captured the age range of 7th to 9th grade, minus the terrible things. I was quite fond of the OP, and the ED also had a charm. It might have been a bit limited by its scope, it does not really do anything big, but it does feel like it fits in with what it wants to do. Overall I had a nice time, I give a rating of Good (7/10), I think that it is worth seeing.

Also, looked up the review thread and got it pointed out that Colette is again hiding in the lockers during the scene Usami thinks she is getting confessed to.
