Person in question: person#112298
I was watching Wake Up Girls and spotted this person's name in the credits, and then looked in the encyclopedia, saw she wasn't there, so added her role. However, in verifying her role, I looked up her up on the Japanese wikipedia (https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/秋奈), and saw that 秋奈 was rendered in kana as あきな (naturally, Akina). I initially thought that Chuna was a reading I wasn't aware of, but looking at her company profile: http://www.stardust.co.jp/profile/akina.html it seems to be romanised as Akina. So my question is: Which is the correct romanisation? |

If you look at archived versions of her official profile that's currently linked (at Sun Music), her name is specifically listed as being read "Chuna" as recently as March 15, 2015. Her current profile (at Stardust Promotion, which lists her as "Akina") I can find as far back as January 15, 2016. Her Wikipedia page mentions she left Sun Music to freelance on March 31, and that she joined Stardust in 2016 without a specific date (but it's got to be in January given the archive above: the archive page even seems to be the exact date going by the date of Wikipedia edits). But there doesn't seem to be a single mention of the change in the reading of her name specifically. I think I'd consider her as "Chuna" for any roles up to 2015, and for 2016 and afterwards as "Akina".

I've set it up as an alias with her latest role in Orange under the Akina name. However the capitalization is due to a split and needs fixed. person#112298
