Leave it to Sentai to screw up a theatrical release by using a dub. Hopefully they have multiple screening choices

I'd love for them to get it into a theater here in Central Florida, which appears to be no easy task.

Because that's what they showed in Japan, scenes with giant kanji on the bottom. I'm still trying to figure out why Funimation didn't dub Godzilla Resuchandsuch for theaters.

As for this, I think it looks awesome and funny with equals entertaining.

Looks pretty cool. Hopefully the theater near me that airs FUNimation films will get this. Smile

I am not interested in the theatrical release but this reassures me that the disc release will have a dub. I had been a bit worried about that.

Now I just have to find out if the disc release will have anything other than the movie, such as the OVA that came with the movie in Japan or even, dare I hope, the Anzio OVA.

Does your recent announcement of the licensing of Girls und Panzer der Film include the rights to the "This is the real Anzio battle!" OVA?

Yes, we did license the OVA, as well as the Girls und Panzer mini episode. The release details, though, are still to be determined. Hang tight, and Panzer Vor!

Hopefully this dub will be better than the one for the series. That was easily one of sentais worst efforts. Nearly everyone sounded stiff and awkward.

It would be nice if they did Anzio + the mini episode + the Yukari Tank corners. That amount of content would not overtax a BD.
