Thanks Aniplex. This is why I pay outrageous prices for your releases, I love the way you conduct your business, oh wait.

They disappeared from Akiba Pass (German legal streaming site), Vvvvid (Italian legal streaming site), and Wakanim (France legal streaming site) as well.

WTF? This is crazy. Is Aniplex Japan giving the shaft to Aniplex USA?

Odd. Maybe they weren't happy with the versions they released, for some reason?

Shame, because this is one of the shows I was most looking forward to.

This is disappointing. I've enjoyed Occultic;Nine so far, and was going to be showing the series off to a friend later this weekend. It's too bad that they've pulled down the opening episodes for the series. Hopefully this situation is resolved shortly.

Since it's still being shown in Japan then they're presumably unhappy with CR for some reason. The opinions I've read is that the english subtitles are making a confusing show totally incomprehensible. I've only watched the first episode and it was definitely difficult to keep things straight.

So (as a pure guess) maybe they're holding out for CR to commit to doing better subtitles.

Now that I could totally believe and would make perfect sense. I would hope that this also means its something that could be more easily rectified, but I won't be too bothered if it takes a lengthy while; especially if the companies start butting heads with one another if it is something like this.

It may still be on TV but it's not online period.
It's been removed from Japanese streaming services too.

The production committee, of which Aniplex is part of, pulls two episodes from streaming without leaving a reply as to why they're doing it.

"Lets take this opportunity to complain about Aniplex' physical media prices!"

While not unexpected with ANN being the nest of rabid Aniplex haters, it's still kind of... Wow man, like really? Anime dazed

And why they pulled it away from French, German and Italian streaming sites, or other languages in Crunchyroll? It'd make no sense then.

The subtitles are from Aniplex and Crunchyroll isn't the only service these episodes have been taken down from, so I don't think that's the reason.
