Very unfortunate that this happened. Thank you for having an impact on our lives not only in anime, but also outside of it. I hope your family and friends can get through this.

RIP

Deynard's post was in poor taste, and has been deleted, as has everything else related to it. Your response, however, warrants more comment.

No matter what another user says, replying as you did is childish and exacerbates the problem. Next time, just report the post and the mod team will deal with it. You went way to far there, and if you do that again you will be banned. That's all there is to it. -Galap

I completely agree since he did fine work in OP and his other work. He will be missed.

I just don't think you should bother being offended to that degree on the internet. You will be on the losing end always. You just can't win against a person who doesn't care. On the Internet at least.

That being said, he played a great Blackbeard. He will be missed.

Never knew he was a firefighter and a paramedic, sounds pretty badass. My condolences to his family for their loss. Gonna miss hearing him in dubs.

It seems that he was a brave and compassionate person who brought joy to many people, and saved the lives of many others. I hope his family is able to look back on many happy memories during this difficult time.

Just listened to the most recent dubbed episode of Izetta.

God bless David, he's doing his absolute best, and I respect that, but... there's definitely a difference between him and Cole. It just... doesn't sound the same without him.

That having been said, I do hope the DVD release keeps Cole's performance in the first episode out of respect for him instead of re-dubbing it for the sake of consistency. The man's legacy at least deserves that much. Crying or Very sad

I'm thinking they will leave his voice in place. Consistency is nice, but this is sort of an exception.

Dang. I just rewatched Baccano recently and didn't realize he was voice of the president of the daily days.

no kidding. i was expecting him to be in his thirties, and probably an african american considering the dark pitch tone that black beard uses.

its definitely unfortunate. especially for his age. makes me wonder if the tasks of doing multiple roles at once sometimes would take a toll on the VA's body and not just their vocal chords. definitely a lot to ponder.

That's a shock. Shocked Cole Brown passing away like that. I didn't hear too much of him but it's sad to see the guy go anyway.

R.I.P. Cole Brown. You may have been sixty, but you left us far too soon.

so the first two broadcast eps of Izetta were replaced with the home video release yesterday on Funi's website. Cole is still Lord Redford, they kept him in the show. that was nice
