I'm confused. Aren't they already airing the second season? Episode 1 was dubbed, so why announce this now?

Heavily disappointing Organ won't be returning as Eraserhead, one of the best VA's out there atm and its not the same without him, fit the role perfectly.

Why was he replaced? I'm just curious is all.

Maybe Chris Wehkamp is just stepping in for him and they'll get him back for the home video release. Funimation's cast announcement page doesn't highlight the change in voice actors at all. So I think he's probably just busy with theater or something and just can't do simuldubs right now.

Other than that... I guess we'll have to wait until Colleen Clinkenbeard says something about it.

Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

They don't say, could be a bunch of reasons from legal to private. Alex also does theater and may just have been too busy.

Wonderful David Wald is a very goo actor. I haven't seen him in a great deal of shows, but he's left a good impression on the ones I have seen.

I suspect it's the theatre acting.

I do hope Alex will come back to voice the character soon. I noticed the change and, while it's a similar enough voice, the original performance was just perfect.

Yeah I prefer Alex, Chris is fine but just a bit too deep.

It's funny at first I wasn't 100% sure that it was a different VA, I kept thinking it sounded off but I wasn't sure if it was just muffling modulation they were doing because he's wrapped in bandages, but now we've got confirmation.

Yeah, the new guy got him to sound similar, but he was perfect. It'd be neat if they could put him back in for the home release. I too wonder why they had to change.

Yup, the dub cast is spot on, went straight to the dub too, so great that it's out the same day. Smile

Colleen Clinkenbeard confirmed on Twitter that Alex Organ was replaced due to scheduling conflicts:

So yeah, it's unfortunate, but nothing serious.
