Oh they're making a live action film for this? They better nail all those jazz performances.

One of my biggest fears in live action adaptations in Japan would be if the lead features a Johnnys Ent member lolol in most cases for me, they were a hit or miss lol
Then again, Chinen Yuri isn't so bad per se, he's grown considerably, and I've only seen Nakagawa in the Prison School jdrama adaptation and Komatsu from Bakuman live action movie (both werent bad actually). The director and screenwriter i have seen a few of their works, and they were enjoyable movies to watch. Still, i'll be looking forward to this, i feel like this can be done right (hopefully). |

There were riots on Twitter as it was announced that a mixed race character would be played by an actor of indeterimable ancestry. The producers of the film responded by assuring potential audiences that his hair would be styled to look more hafu.
