Well that's kinda suporisng considering that I didn't see Vol 1 or 2 on any Japanese top selling lists.
Did DB manga fans just woke up? because first it was volume 3 getting #4 in manga rankings for May 29 - June 4 and now this.

Volume 3 is fully dedicated to the Future Trunks Saga, which is way better than the beginnng of DBS. IMHO, but seems that the Japanese fans feel the same.

Honestly the last 3 chapters weren't as good as they used to be. Well the vol 3 doesn't include them, so I guess it has only good content.

Every volume has seen sales growth in Japan so far. First week:
Volume 1 - 29,995
Volume 2 - 56,947
Volume 3 - 92,114

As the manga has some legs (#2 is over 250k now), I'd say that's pretty good for what's effectively a monthly tie-in series.

Primus: They wanna see their beloved characters in manga form, even if it's a different official artist this time.

A drinking game for this would counting the number of times Yamcha appears, is mentioned, or referenced.
