And they're gonna butcher every emotional scene with shitty dubbing. Great.

Oh, you've already watched the dub? Do obnoxious weebs get time travelling powers or something?

Best not to give them any attention. Dub haters exist in every age.

Was Anohana that popular? I mean I remember seeing a lot of good reviews, but I don't recall it being that huge. Interesting to see them making an event around the dub of a six year old show.

It did well enough, I saw a lot of discussion about it shortly after it aired but nothing too grand now, so I'm shocked Aniplex is even bothering to dub it, though it is only 11 episodes. I'd say comparable to how big Erased was the winter before last.

It certainly was big in Japan. For a Noitamina show it was a huge hit (average volume sales of 30k) which lead to the movie as well which did pretty well in sales.

One thing that confuses me about this article, is the dub for the series, the movie or both? The series and movie are mentioned in the same sentence which is causing me some confusion.

Wow, right out the gate and already this thread is off to a great start. So about you both Not_Nitsugalego & joe_g7 refrain from any further pointless bait posts or rude insults to those bait posts. If you have nothing of substance and value to add why don't you both just move on.

You can't go wrong with Patrick Seitz--I've liked what he's done in pretty much everything I've heard him in. He's also hilarious any time he's on the Unofficial One Piece Podcast (which, sadly, failed to come to Anime Expo again this year).

Didn't Warner Bros. already do a dub of Stardust Crusaders? Or did they stop at Battle Tendency?

I think it's both.
