I wonder if the "same service in Japan and out" will mean they'll actually start advertising anime outside of anime-specific websites.

Because that's what anime needs, and this looks like exactly the kind of thing that can bring in new audiences.

So I hope Amazon advertises this.

Ponycan USA will likely license it.

Note that this doesn't confirm it's on Amazon Strike, just Prime Video.

I assume this will only be available on the Anime Strike channel in United States, although it would be nice if that was explicitly stated.

Outside of Japan, I wonder if countries where people can get Amazon Prime but can't get Anime Strike will get this as part of their Amazon Prime subscription.

Well Again rip people that are not from USA and Canada .... have to resort again to illegal streaming sites for this one !

God these companies ... especially the japan committee that give crunchy or any streaming sites the right to stream an anime in only specific regions are retarded AF ... And they wonder why people pirate Anime hyper Instead of thinking that the whole god damn planet represents a potential customer they only think about NA , japan market and a few countries in EU .... No wonder anime industry is suffering ... when i get the message on crunchy or any other legal streaming site :Due to licensing this anime is not available in your region .. people will pirate ... As Gabe Newell said : Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem

In France, Anime Strike does not exist but we have Amazon Prime (49 € / year).

But when you in US have 12 anime this season on Anime Strike, we in France have only 3 anime on Amazon Prime (sub in french of course), the 3 which are world exclusives (bahamut, saekano, re: creators)

Welp. *Thinks hard* Nope, still not paying for Strike. I can't justify another Anime only subscription and this johnny come lately still hasn't edged out Funi and CR for breadth of content.

*deep, long suffering sigh* One less title to watch this summer. I was really looking forward to this one 'cause it'll be similar to YOI in regards to spreading ballroom dancing to lay people. Plus the animation, from watching the trailers, seemed very on point.
