And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why Shueisha accommodates Togashi.

It always brings a smile to my face to see HxH come yearly and wreck everything else.

Also, super happy to see Ballroom do this well.

It's called Stockholm syndrome folks.

How nice to see HxH and Berserk in the same chart with their volumes so close to each other.

Let's go HnG!

Yup, lol.

And he really delivers when the content comes, so it's no surprise. I can't wait to get the volume in English. ♥

Because he releases one volume in a blue moon which gives him more leverage than a manga that sells two times more which has a new release every two months? Rolling Eyes

Without a shadow of a doubt if HxH continues a full year it would beat One Piece at #1 in a heart beat.

Ehhh...I don't really think so.

Even if Togashi were to somehow produce 5 volumes in a year vs OP's current rate of 3 a year, OP would still win (within this scenario, HxH's best possible result, I believe, would a virtual tie with OP).

Its current Rate is 4 a year, not 3.

Also given that One Piece sells 2.6 Million copies per volume in a year, HxH would need to sell 2.1 Million copies per volume(5 volumes) and even if One Piece only released 3, it would need 1.57 Million sales per year.
HxH best result ever, shown by Oricon, is 1.27 Million, still short 300k.

Good joke, it would barely even beat attack on titan, let alone one piece.

I like that people are arguing on whether a megahit could take down another megahit. No hope for the little guys.

After what feels like an eternal dormancy, Hunter X Hunter has dominated the chart by a massive landslide. Smile
