Considering that it's received multiple Worst Game of 2016 "rewards", I'm not surprised.

IntiCreates has made many well-received games both before and since MN9. MN9 is not relevant to this, really.

I'm worried about Bloodstained. I hope they will do ok.

Eh...not really. Most of their well-received games were made by other people and they just worked on ports.

I wouldn't be worried about Bloodstained. Check out the most recent videos. It's looking fantastic.

I wouldn't be too worried, the demo was pretty good and felt like old school castelvania so I have faith.

Considering that Yooka Laylee felt like old school Banjo Kazooie, I have worry.

At least from playing last year's E3 demo, and really enjoyed it (also stressing some of my older computers and laptops just to see if they can run it), the only bad thing I can think of is that it feels too much like the older Igavania titles. (Odd to say, I know. What I'm getting at is, they need something significant to set it apart from their spiritual counterparts.).

What got me was that they said Inti Creates left around last year, and just looking at the E3 2017 demo, I honestly cannot tell they had left. Which I guess adds to the question of how much of the process were they involved in. If it's just, for the lack of a better word, "replaceable grunt work". It might be okay. Also following through their development updates, I think they are fine, at least for now. Am I worried? Yeah, at least a bit.
