YOU SHUT YOUR FILTHY MOUTH!!!!!!!! I'm joking, of course. Those two were obviously put there as fanservice. Not that I mind, but you know... I'm still a bit salty over a cerain stunt Mashima pulled in the last arc. Like he was really going to do it. |

Good to know you'd have to be caught up to a certain point in the manga. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie but i don't want to be confused by some things either.
Guess I'll read the manga sometime soon where the 2014 anime left off. |

Okay, let me rephrase that:
Gajeel and Levy could have been left out and not ruined/changed the plot. 
They're one of my favorite couples in Fairy Tail, too, but sometimes I've got to put my Big Girl Reviewer Hat on.

Well if it in between two as yet unadapted manga arcs, I think I'll save it until the anime gets up to that point. My work probably wouldn't like me taking off 4 days in a row anyhow (since the subbed screening is the day after Otakon). Nice to see that it is relatively positively reviewed though.

Animation really was terrific, fast fluid and the art was on point. Can't wait to watch it on BD with the dub
 .
