This is fantastic news. I got way more out of Outbreak Company than I had thought I would, so the fact that I'll finally be able to continue the series is very pleasing. J-Novel Club is doing some amazing work with their choices of licenses and releases and have yet to go wrong in my eyes.

This is awesome! as soon as it becomes a physical novel i'm buying up each volume.

Pretty funny i finished re watching the anime last night and woke up too this news, now if only the same coincidence when i watch amagi brilliant park or chivalry of a failed knight, two more series i'd toss my money at as well.

Wait; is this the same Sakaki who wrote Scrapped Princess and Chaika: Coffin Princess? Is this person the Stephen King of light novels?!

I'll be sure to check this series out; i like the anime, so i'd like to see where the story goes Smile

Yup, that's him! This is one of (maybe the?) longest series he's written and he's written a lot...

I don't think any company would be willing to print 19 volumes of a finished novel.

ahhhh but I don't know if I want to finish it... I ship ShinGali and PetraMyu sooo hard, but ShinMyu is so obviously canon...

(I always end up shipping Shinichi's seiyuu's characters with white haired boys. At least it's canon in StarMyu.

.... yes, I ship Arslan/Elam. They're too cute.)

Seven Seas picked up "Jistu wa watashi wa..." which was over 20 volumes when they announced it, and they've also already partnered with JNC to print physicals of other LNs, so I'd say don't count out physical just yet.

I liked this anime. I'll be sure to buy down the line.

J-Novel Club's translation seems pretty good from the one series I've read (Faraway Paladin). They seem like a cool company. I'm not interested in their simulpub, but it's an interesting concept.

Anyone more familiar with them know when their other announcements for fall are likely to be released? I know they have 4 other ones.

Huh, that was unexpected.

I'm really happy about it, though ~
*starts looking for my DVD of the anime*

It's not an official date, but word is there's another one coming around the 1st. And I'm less certain, but I thought I heard 2 are a bit further out. Not sure about the remaining one.

One thing J-Novel could improve is their forum design/appearance. One thing they are awesome on is their constant updates. Given how LN volumes are often 250-300+ pages, weekly or biweekly (the "every 2 weeks" definition) updates are great. Now, if they could get "Lord Marksman and Vanadis" and "Chivalry of a Failed Knight".
