Well, that was suprised no one, and the story is still no near to it's ending.
But yeah, it's well to know that the second season is nearby, because the first give really nostalgic classical Final Fantasy vibe.

The middle and end had some pacing issues but it was overall one of my favorite fantasy series these past few years. (dat dungeon crawl episode)

It'd be actually nice if this became Cygames' MHA and released a polished cour every few seasons.

No where near is an understatement. They'd have to really pick up the pace to ever finish.

Or just bring more episodes. Because well, it sells, even with it's pretty cheating bonuses.

Same here, I enjoyed watching it.

Like WANNFH mentioned, I also definitely enjoy the FF vibes.

Yay, maybe we will finally see Vira, and more importantly, Vira doujinshi.

I was glad to hear about a new season, and very curious if it'll just be a continuation from A-1, or how things will change. It was cute seeing what each seiyuu was wanting, and I agree with the ones hoping for more for Djeeta~.

I liked what A-1 did, but I was also incredibly disappointed and kind of turned off. It didn't capture what I love about the games (well, EX did and the next one should, but that's just one part). I hope they'll change things up.

Not sure if you guys know, but the FF vibes come from FF art director Hideo Minaba, a little bit of FF influence in the music (Uematsu did a few tracks, but Narita has great skill and uses FF inspiration well for original sounds), and it seems in general, the team probably has a strong understanding for classic FF.

After that abysmal OVA, I'd gladly watch a second season to cleanse my palette. Give us some more development and explain who all those characters at the end were.

??

There hasn't been an OVA, just the TV series? Are you talking about the EX episode? (Of which there will be another.)
