Given how low the in volume KyoAni LN series tend to be, I would take it a 5th volume would be the last.

So, I assume, the new anime film will cover a whole new story right?
I wonder how different they'll be compared to the novels.

I've seen people say that the novels and anime are pretty different. Seeing as the novel series is a short one, I wonder if there's a chance we'll see them licensed. Or, potentially, the anime may hurt the chance of this, if there are large differences between it and the source material.

It'll be quite different. In all honesty, strictly adapting the novels (as some people think all adaptations should be) would lead to boring TV. It works in novel form as you get the thoughts of Yuuta, but Ishihara's decisions when adapting it to a visual form were the right decisions. After all, how many scenes of Yuuta and Rikka studying for a re-take test do you need to see?

The movie will be completely original; Touka doesn't exist in the novels, so the main plot point of the film where she's going to have Rikka move to Italy with her after graduation wouldn't be present. Instead, Torako's going with a plot where Rikka's chunibyo disappears and Yuuta decides if he wants that aspect of Rikka back or not. It's quite intriguing.

It's ending now? Hmm...I wonder if they will adapt everything now. Multi seasons and movies, it'd be weird not to do it.
