Judging from the production value and the launch date and the format of the manga, I am assuming that this is going to be a short anime. 5 minutes per episode at best. I like the character design and premise of this anime.

Is this show going to get into the dark side of alcoholism with these girls or just have them drinking? I mean I guess it's OK if they don't, I mean I don't care either way. Plus I hope they explain why these girls don't go to a bar.

I'm pretty sure that's what he's referring to. It's not that unusual. But I also don't know why people would care or take issue with it.
I... wouldn't count on that. It doesn't seem to be even vaguely suggested. And I don't imagine why they would, unless this was creating in part as a warning/teaching tool against alcohol abuse and was funded by the government or something.
Probably because going to a bar costs like 5x as much and you have to worry about being interrupted by people trying to hit on you. |

Why would it even have to explore that? There are positive aspects to drinking, there are plenty of people that drink responsibly and enjoy it without ruining their lives.
Not to mention that some stuff isn't available at bars. I hope beer girl visits a brewery and uses untappd or something. |
