The Rising of the Shield Hero light novel never fell to my tastes, but you might want to check that adaptation out just in case it'll make you change your mind about isekai.
It will be produced by Kinema Citrus, known for many gorgeous hits as well as last Summer's hit Made in Abyss and also responsible for the finish animation on this season's gorgeous hit After the Rain. It will have the looks going for it if nothing else...

The characters in this anime looks a lot younger than the ones in the original manga. But I absolutely love this fantasy isekai theme.
