Another Kingdom Hearts VA passes away. Unfortunate that this had to happen. I hope his family and friends can get through this. Thank you for having an impact on many lives.

RIP

I've been watching M*A*S*H reruns lately, they don't make TV shows like that anymore. I had no idea he was also a voice actor. RIP. Sad

What a shame. He was a multi-talented actor with a mellifluous voice that lent itself very well to animation.

RIP and thank you for being part of my childhood.

May David rest in peace. Sad I enjoyed hearing him as Jumba from Lilo & Stitch.

His narration in Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite things about the movie. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Watched M*A*S*H since I was a kid. Rest in peace, Mr. Ogden Stiers.

Loved him in M.A.S.H.

I preferred him over Maj Burns to be honest. Then Beauty and the Beast and Hamaji in Spirited Away. Man R.I.P. a great actor!

Growing up watching re-runs of M*A*S*H, this was really sad to find out. The spirits likely have half of the cast by now, unfortunately...
He was such a great actor and voice actor, and he'll be missed for sure. R.I.P.

M*A*S*H* is one of my favorite (older) shows, and Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney animated features... yet I had no idea he voiced Cogsworth until I read this article. Funny though, because I very easily pick out Japanese voice actors when they do other works lol. RIP David.

I loved how he always played the consummate gentleman in all his roles. Winchester the 3rd in MASH, the Mayor in Doc Hollywood, his guest role on Star Trek TNG, in addition to his voice acting roles.

Truly, a person such as this comes a few times a century. If only Hollywood had more people like him.

He also voiced Ratcliffe and his assistant in Pochahontas. He's like Disney's version of John Ratzenberger.
