How does one know this when no animation has even been previewed yet? That and if you don’t like the genre, then I’m confused as to why you’re even posting on this thread. Confused

It is true that's bottom of the line entertainment.
Of course tehre's demand for that too, but when a writer doesn't even care to spice the usual promise up a little bit, you know there's some problem.

As much as I'm a bit tired of the avalanche of isekai titles lately, I'm a fan of some of the series so I'm always going to give new adaptations the benefit of the doubt.

Isekai is trash and so am I

There's only 6 chapters translated so far but I have been enjoying the manga for what it's worth

Where's the one-legged girl? All the girls in the pictures have two legs.

This is why I prefer CGDCT and yuri over trash like this. Just saying.

You’re not really saying anything. One type of show is inherently better than another simply because you say so? I’ll just repeat what BlackPoint. said to someone else and be on my merry way.

One thing I noticed about a number of isekai LN/WN are or become harem stories. Any guesses as to which isekai series really popularized such a trend?

The Familiar of Zero?

Honestly, harem plots and subplots have gotten pretty much everywhere since the '90s or '00s. Checking the Wayback Machine's copies of Shousetsuka ni Narou's popularity listings back in 2011, which is the farthest back it goes, there were already quite a few stories up there with both "isekai" and "harem" in the description and/or tags. Including "Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World", which may have contributed to some of the other features of Boilerplate Webnovel Isekai, including a non-game world running on gamelike mechanics, and of course slave harems.
